Weighted Wearables About Main Weighted WearablesTM began as a home based business in 1996 to provide the highest quality of weighted adaptive products. While working as an ESE Early Childhood Assistant, Bethany Metz, and a school occupational therapist set out to update the old vinyl weighted vests. Her experience and degrees in design and special education allowed her to create these products, thereby fulfilling the needs of individuals in the U.S. and overseas.

Together with her longtime coworker, Carol Paur, Bethany continued to provide the highest quality of weighted adaptive products to individuals, schools, clinics and hospitals all over the world.

On June 1, 2007 Carol and Bryan Paur purchased Weighted Wearables from Bethany Metz. They will continue to deliver the same high quality products Weighted Wearables is known for.

Weighted WearablesTM products can be used for children and adults with Autism, PDD, ADD, ADHD, CP, MD and various sensory integration needs.
